A little more about Speechie

"I am a compassionate and dedicated bilingual Speech Pathologist, fluent in Farsi and English, with a genuine passion for supporting people of all ages and neurotypes to communicate in ways that are meaningful to them. I believe communication is a fundamental human right, and I feel privileged to work alongside individuals and their families to support connection, participation, and self-expression.

My approach is neuroaffirming, person-centred, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I take the time to understand each person as an individual, recognising and respecting their unique strengths, communication preferences, and goals. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where every person can communicate in ways that feel right for them, be heard and understood, and participate fully in the things that matter to them.

Fun fact: I once had the thrilling (and terrifying) experience of reversing a car with three passengers while being charged by a Rhino in Kruger National Park!" - Kamran Aazami
